Peninsula Fire Safety has had a very busy year, in fact our best yet, so thank you to every one of our clients.
Changes in legislation and the release of new guidance for smaller buildings, have prompted more enquiries from current and new clients, and we are happy to have been able to assist them to ensure they meet these new requirements.
The short term self catering holiday sector has seen the most significant changes in some time, and this has caused confusion. New guidance has also added some stress to lots of home owners, but I am glad to say, most properties only needed minor adjustments in order to ensure they met the amended guidance.
We have made some changes this year too, with a new domain name hopefully making contact easier. You can contact us at www.Peninsulafiresafety.co.uk but we now also have www.pfs-sw.co.uk too, including our e-mails Jon@, Info@ and Lynsey@. Our contact page on the website has also been updated, providing us with more information which allows us to understand your needs and to quote accordingly.
Forging new relationships with new clients is really important to us and working hard to deliver projects is what we are passionate about. 2023 saw us deliver a number of projects for clients, including a significant Fire Risk Assessment project for a local authority over the Summer. We have also been working with a higher education establishment to survey buildings, helping to update their fire safety record drawings and carrying out compartmentation surveys in leisure centres, is a snapshot of the works we have delivered this year.
Welcoming our office Manager, Lynsey who has now been with us for just over a year, has been a big step forward, so you now can speak to a member of the team when you call the office.
We have branched out into new areas too, although still in the South West, but commuting to work by plane, is a new way of getting to work for us. working in the Scilly Isles is fantastic, such a beautiful part of the British Isles, one of the great privileges of working in the South West.
We would like to wish you all a very Merry Christmas, thank you for an amazing 2023 and all the best for 2024 from all of the Peninsula Fire Safety SW Team.
