Evacuation Plans
The Fire Safety Act says that the Responsible Person must ensure that there are effective planning, organisation, and control of protective measures in place. This would include a suitable Fire Evacuation plan. Peninsula Fire Safety can create a suitable Fire Evacuation plan for your building, we create drawings of a building that are then annotated to provide specific information for occupants, allowing them the best and most effective means of escape. Our drawing team can brand plans and policies with your company logo, giving a professional, corporate impression.
Fire Door Inspections
Fire Doors are an important part of a buildings’ Fire Safety, under Section 17 of Fire Safety Act, the Responsible Person is obliged to ensure that all fire safety systems are correctly maintained, in an efficient state, in working order and in good repair. Our trained inspectors undertake Fire Door inspections in accordance with the BWF (British Woodworking Federation) guidance and the relevant British Standards. We provide a full report for each door assembly and a breakdown of what is required to bring your buildings’ Fire Doors comply with the appropriate standards.
Fire Risk Assessment
There is a legal obligation for businesses, short term lettings such as holiday properties and other commercial buildings to have a suitable and sufficient Fire Risk Assessment.
